Your Fund Raising Race Night
A race night consists of eight horse races shown on film with the opportunity for all to place a bet.
There are eight horses in each race and we will provide you with a sponsorship form in advance of your event, so that you can raise funds, even before the night begins !
By selling horse owners in all eight races, you are bringing revenue in, before your race night even gets underway.
At £5 per horse owner you could raise £320.00 and be in profit before a horse is even out of the stables !
Horse owners can be sold for more or less, you must gauge the price you charge, according to the expected generosity of those who you hope will support your event.
The winning owner in each race, can be rewarded from your fund, perhaps having paid £5 to become an owner / jockey, they may win £20 cash or £15 and a bottle of wine, it is your choice !
Even better (and without having to take prize money from your fund raising efforts), is to get each race sponsored, here's how ...
Sponsorship
Local shopkeepers, businesses etc. should be encouraged to support and even attend your event. They could become a horse owner or even provide cash or other prizes as sponsors of a particular race (ie a Restaurant may want to donate a meal for two, up to a certain value etc).
They will get some advertising on the large screen, if for example they donate a cash sum or prize for the winning owner of a race, they could name the race after their business which will appear on screen and we can make a bit of a fuss of them on the night itself !!!
Tote Seller(s)
Depending upon the number of people expected to attend your event, we provide a number of glamorous tote sellers.
Their role is to sell tote tickets at your event, allowing you and others to enjoy the fund raising evening, as much as everyone else.
From the number of tickets sold per race, we calculate the payouts for each of the horses and let you know what each horse will payout, should it win (payouts are given on the winning horse only).
